I agree, being 14 is quite young and you should talk to your parents.

That being said, I hope they encourage your ambitiousness and that you guys can figure out ways to do this. Instead of a website, I think you should consider

1) starting a belly dancing club at your school
2) offer to teach belly dancing at organizations you and/or your family are a part of (e.g. church)
3) offer to teach belly dancing for kids at a nearby dance studio. Dance studios will have kids programs, esp. during the summer. Make sure one of your parents is there for the first few lessons or a close family friend.

I would avoid doing online advertising for now if you are only 14 and keep your work to “friends/family/referrals” like the above. And as you build your contacts when you grow older you definitely should be able to have your own business!

You could practice building your website at, but I would recommend letting your parents help you out.

Talk to your family about this. If you are a dance artist and are supported by your family it is extremely important to have them help you monitor the visitors to your site.

If you are wanting to create the site to teach others your art and educate them on the history of the art of choice here, you will more than likely not want a free site.

Please note that this style of dance could attract some unhealthy minds out there that you and your family should beware of.

Please know I m not judging your art but you are young and really need to consider the fact that anything you put on the internet stays there forever.

Please think carefully about your decisions and what the outcome is that you are seeking.
